Introduction In Sri Lanka, a person's values, obligations, and daily routine are greatly influenced by their family. Employee expectations of their companies and their perception of work-life balance are greatly influenced by this strong family-oriented culture. Professionals in human resource management (HRM) who want to develop policies that are supportive and culturally appropriate must comprehend this dynamic.
